Website Designer

Context:

Hex-Rays was founded in 2005 to provide a solution that improves digital security and responds to the rising cybersecurity threats that are increasingly affecting both public and private entities.

Fully independent from any governmental agencies and stock market pressures, Hex-Rays is renowned for developing the state-of-the-art binary software analysis solutions used for reverse-engineering, hostile code analysis, and vulnerability research.

Within the Marketing Team, the Website Designer will participate in the development and the maintenance of the website. He/she works in close collaboration with the different functions in the company: Marketing, Sales and Developers. The role demands excellent knowledge of current and emerging digital technologies to ensure that Hex-Rays maximizes its reach and develops business opportunities.

Mission:

The Website Designer develops, maintains and run Hex-Rays’ website, with main responsibilities for technical aspects. He/she will develop the new website and will act as the project manager of the ongoing website project which aims to enhance, develop and maintain Hex-Rays’ website presence. The Website designer updates website content, including information, pictures, design, in accordance with the branding strategy and communication guidelines. He/she should automatize and simplify website routines as far as possible to ensure that non-technical roles are able to post autonomously. Once the new website project is delivered, the role is expected to evolve more towards editing and writing technical content with the aim to simplify and popularize the information and publish it on our new website.

Main tasks:

1. Website develoment and Project management

  • Developing and delivering the new website of the company that complies with modern standards and links to the marketing strategy to support global business objectives.

  • In collaboration with the Marketing Officer, proposing and developing a Website strategy and development roadmap.

  • Managing, implementing and following up project timeline and when needed reassessing the priorities with the Managing Director.

  • Communicating proactively on project progress, highlighting risks and opportunities.

2. Daily website management

  • Managing website day-to-day administration with a special attention on technical aspects, security and maintenance issues.

  • Overseeing changes in the site’s technical architecture to ensure that the website remains responsive and stable.

  • Monitoring, assessing and understanding website performance in order to optimize it.

  • Ensuring the website complies with our internal security policy.

  • Ensuring business continuity through the provision of stable and secure website services in collaboration with the system administrator.

3. Content management and Technical writing

  • As a member of the marketing team, participating actively in enhancing and maintaining Hex-Rays’ digital brand presence.

  • Analysing analytics data and providing reports and KPIs to learn how users interact with our website.

  • Contributing in the development of written and visual content to promote Hex-Rays externally in accordance with the brand positioning and communication guidelines.

  • Editing content to ensure it complies with communication guidelines and SEO objectives.

  • Collaborating with the Developers to edit, update and manage technical documents.

Candidate profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Informatics, Website management, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.

  • Demonstrated 5 years of working experience in a similar position.

  • Excellent knowledge of Website and web application management (HTML, WordPress…).

  • Editorial oversight of high-profile websites.

  • Good communicator with proficient written skills in English.

  • Must be able to manage SEO.

  • Good analytical skills with attention to details.

  • Can do attitude, solution oriented.

  • A team player with positive mindset.

Sales Development Officer

Context:

Fully independent from any governmental agencies and stock market pressures, Hex-rays is renowned for developing the state-of-the-art binary software analysis solutions used for reverse-engineering, hostile code analysis, and vulnerability research.

Under the coordination and in close collaboration with the Managing Director, the Sales Development Officer (SDO) will participate in the development and the diffusion of the best sales practices within the company. He/she works in close partnership with the two sales officers and the marketing team.

Mission:

The Sales Development Officer is responsible for analyzing our customer base and current sales strategies; identifying and proposing opportunities to increase sales and profitability. We seek a candidate who is creatively-minded and able to think outside the box when it comes to our customers and their needs. The Sales Development Officer should be able to both generate leads and close the deals. The SDO will contribute to the definition and implementation of the inbound lead generation strategy. In the first phase, he/she will aim to increase the sales volume with the existing customer base while he/she will be looking for expanding the customer base of the company in a second phase.

Main tasks:

  • Analyze the current customer base to identify potential sales opportunities.

  • Build strong relationships with customers (B2B & B2C) to retain and develop their business.

  • Analyze and determine criteria for successful leads qualification in order to identify which leads are not likely to buy and those that are likely to purchase in the near future.

  • Nurture leads that are in the sales and marketing funnel in a way that warms them up and qualifies them for a sale transaction.

  • Collaborate with colleagues and peers on the sales, marketing, and product development teams to improve overall customer experience and satisfaction.

  • Look for new opportunities (internet, listing, networks, …).

  • Generate new leads that suit our products and fit within our ideal client personas.

  • Ensure customer relations from the start-up phase to delivery as well as after-sales follow-up.

  • Depending on the situation, close the deals directly or interact with the sales officers to close deals.

  • Capitalize on good practices and propose improvements to current processes.

  • Prepare monthly and ad hoc reports.

Candidate profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, or related field.

  • Equivalent experience in related fields acceptable as well (five-plus years in a sales or business development environment).

  • Solid knowledge of sales techniques and principles

  • Experience in sales for a software company is a plus.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with customers from various levels.

  • Critical thinking skills, analytical, organized.

  • Creatively-minded, good at thinking ‘outside the box’.

  • Excellent selling, persuasion and negotiation skills

  • Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales

  • A commitment to excellent customer service.

  • Language: English is a must

Software Developer

We are looking for someone to join our team and participate in the development of unique software security tools. The candidates must know low-level details of modern software as well as high-level data structures and algorithms.

Requirements:

  • A strong knowledge of C/C++
  • Knowledge of x86 assembler and unwillingness to use it in development
  • Experience of cross platform development (Windows/Linux/Mac) is a plus
  • Knowing graph theory and how compilers work is an advantage
  • Ability and willingness to write secure yet fast code
  • Good problem solving and communication skills
