Prerequisites

The decompiler requires IDA Pro v5.1. It will not run on earlier versions because it uses functions introduced in IDA 5.1. Nevertheless, we recommend using the latest available version of IDA Pro since it will yield the best results. For example, floating point support is available only starting from IDA v5.5.

The decompiler runs only under MS Windows. It can decompile programs for other operating systems, provided that they have been built using GCC/Visual Studo/Borland compilers.

The GUI version of IDA is required for the interactive operation. For the text mode version, only the batch operation is supported.
