IDA Pro Licensing Information Generalities The IDA Pro license doesn't expire: once it has been granted, provided the license is not revoked for non-payment, piracy or other licensing breaches, the software is yours to use for as long as you see fit. Your ability to get support and updates is limited in time and must eventually be renewed through support plans/upgrades. Your initial IDA Pro license comes with a year of support and upgrades. Named Licenses Licensed to a specific individual/organization combination. Single user, as many computers as used by that single user. The license can be changed during the course of the support period (for example when an employee quits or is re-assigned) but cannot be floated back and forth among different users. Computer Licenses Licensed to a specific machine, as many local users as one wants, provided only one of them uses the software at any given time. This is the "testlab machine scenario". Governmental Organizations Governmental organizations with high security requirements
may request the named license requirements to be waived when they order
